The Need
In the US today, a person’s ability to access affordable, quality healthcare is tied to many factors beyond their control.
Tens of thousands of people go without care or face impossible financial hurdles to good health.
Deep health inequities exist for people of color and those living in poverty.
Americans pay more for healthcare than any other developed nation, with worse outcomes—and costs are unsustainable.
Lack of diversity in healthcare leadership leaves many patients without representation in the dialogue shaping their care.
Homogenous innovation investment perpetuates a cultural blind spot in healthcare transformation, exacerbates unjust access to care improvements and concentrates downstream wealth accumulation in privileged communities.
